Joliet will have a new mayor for the first time in 20 years, will you vote?

The City of Joliet will elect a new mayor on Tuesday, April 5th.

There are 9 candidates for mayor:

Jan Quillman
Kevin Hegarty
Warren Dorris
Andy Mihelich
Diane Harris
Dale Vollmer
Michael Marconi
Dr. Brown
Tom Giarrante

Since there are so many candidates, it is possible that a mayor will be elected with a few thousand votes. In 2007, 10,328 people voted (according to statistics on the Will County Clerk's website).  There are 9 candidates.  Do the math:

UPDATE:

Giarrante wins Joliet's Mayoral Election with 3,942 votes (unofficial results)
