Civil War Reenactment at Manhattan Round Barn Farm Park

The Manhattan Park District's Round Barn Farm Park will host Manhattan Days of Old and a Civil War reenactment Saturday, August 27th, here is the schedule of events:

11 am - Tea Ladies Demonstration
11:30 am - 33rd IL Band Concert
1 pm - Battle Re-enactment
1:30 pm - Baseball Game
3 pm - Founders Day Parade

Admission: $5 Adults, $2 Children 3 and older

Civil War re-enactors will strike a camp and demonstrate how people lived during the time of the Civil War.  There will be demonstrations of old-time wet plate photography and tea demonstrations, and much more.  For example, at last year's Manhattan Days of Old, Civil War enthusiasts discussed Civil War cannons:
