Giarrante wins Joliet's Mayoral Election with 3,942 votes (unofficial results)

Tom Giarrante has been elected to be the new mayor of Joliet in the April 2011 election.  According to unofficial results on the Will County Clerk's page, Giarrante has won with 3,942 votes.  Unofficially, 14, 983 people voted in the Joliet Mayoral Election.  According to the 2010 census, the population of Joliet is 147, 433.
