  The Illinois Supreme Court plans to announce its opinion in the SAFE-T Act case on Tuesday, July 18th at 9:00 a.m..   Lockport will celebrate with fireworks on Monday, July 3, 2023 at dusk at historic Dellwood Park.  In the case of inclement weather, a make-up date will be announced. Dellwood Park was built by the Chicago and Joliet Electric Railway, an electric railroad that provided passenger service between Joliet and Chicago.
