The Will County Fair continues through the weekend in Peotone, Illinois.  Friday is Green Party Day, Saturday is Democrat Day and Sunday is Republican Day.  The Fair offers daily carnival rides, food, Bingo, agricultural exhibits, fine art exhibits, and fruit and vegetable exhibits. The Will County Fair began today in Peotone, Illinois.  Here are some photos of activities at the Fair.   The Fair offers daily agricultural exhibits and livestock judging.  There is a variety of food available, including locally raised produce by Wind 'N Oaks Farm .  There are also carnival rides, games, and an air-conditioned commercial building where local businesses and politicians set up shop. Pictures from the 2009 Will County Fair in Peotone, Illinois: The Will County Fair Midway features traditional fair carnival rides, games, and food. To many kids visiting the fair, spotting the Ferris Wheel at the Will County Fair signals the start of another school year. The Will County Fair Large Animal Show also includes the Will County 4-H Livestock Show.  Local 4-H Members raise market animals such as beef cattle and hogs, then show the animals, which are judged on criteria such as how the animal would be graded for meat. The Will County 4-H Livestock Auction will take place the Saturday of the Will County Fair at 5:30.  Local businesses, politicians, and individuals buy animals raised by Will County 4-H Members. The Will County Fair features many vendors selling traditional county fair food, such as the taffy shown here.
