On a beautiful August day, history came alive at the Manhattan Park District Baker-Koren Round Barn Farm Park.  The Manhattan Park District's "Manhattan Days of Old" event featured a group of Civil War Reenactors who brought history alive through their dress, music, and educational demonstrations.

The Sleepers Base Ball Club of Lockport--an educational program of The Gaylord Building, an historic site of the National Trust of Historic Preservation--played the Ganymedes Base Ball Club of Oregon in a base ball game following national baseball rules adopted in March of 1858.
