Manhattan, Illinois Paycheck Protection Program Data Released by U.S. Treasury Department

On July 6, 2020, the U.S. Small Business Administration and Treasury Department released data on businesses who received loans under the Paycheck Protection Program.

Data shows loans made to businesses in Manhattan, Illinois helped to retain 775 jobs:

According to the Small Business Administration: "The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll.

SBA will forgive loans if all employee retention criteria are met, and the funds are used for eligible expenses. Click here to read more about PPP loan forgiveness."
